Carnations abstract flowers paintings by contemporary artist Monica Fallini

Hi everyone!  It has been a busy month!
I’m back posting some new paintings…
I was working on a new series of pieces based on memories of my grandmother’s garden from my childhood.
She had a beautiful garden and se grew the plants and flowers herself, she spent several hours every week working in the garden.  I grew up by her side and helped her in the garden also.

Now, I’m trying to remember all the beautiful flowers and paint them on the canvas the way I remember them and the arrangement of plants in the garden.

Those magical moments with her in her garden are great source of inspiration for all my flower paintings!

This week I’m post the collection of Carnations.

13040 -  This is an oil painting on canvas of a bouquet of red Carnations, grandma’s favorites.
 -------

13046 – A group of pink Carnations in a landscape seemed to be made of paper.  I paid a lot of attention to the detail of the texture made with acrylics, specially the intricate texture of the flowers.

13038 -  A magical moment in the garden next to the pink Carnations.  This is an acrylic on canvas.

I will post more pieces belonging to this series next week!
Have a super – great week!
