Hello everyone!

There are many celebrations everywhere these days and we all prepare for anew year and some of us for a new Era!
So, happy celebrations to all of you, and thank you for being there checking on my new paintings.

This time I want to share with you 4 new pieces:

12035 – this is one of my favorite pieces, it is on acrylic on canvas.  I built an interesting texture first and then addend layer after layer of paint & more texture for the flowers.  The flowers are melting representing the impermanence and softness of all things.  I used dripping technique for this.
I like to look at this painting and see through the layers how the different pastel colors show.  Although it is one of my favorites I’m ready to let it go!

12034 – “Pearl Poppies” – In this piece, I was working with similar technique, using palette knives.  I started using a pearl pigment, it doesn’t show very well in the digital image, but the flower have a beautiful pearl finish!  This piece is sold.  Contact me to commission a similar one!

12033 – This is another acrylic painting.
There is texture in the background but the flowers are line drawings, transparent.
It is a very nice blue – turquoise color!

12032 – “A movement in consciousness, red Poppies” is the title of this oil painting.
I believe we and everything are expressions and manifestations of the same one consciousness.  Everything is changing and moving continuously.  In this piece I expressed one of those movements,  and as Poppies are the main characters in most of my paintings, here they are again, but untouched by the movement, grounded and still.

Poppies paintings modern fine art decor - week 27th

 SOLD
SOLD
Hi everyone!
These past weeks are being really busy.  I spend a lot energy and time in moving my studio and I also have to make room and time to continue working on the paintings in progress.

The first piece is a larger one, 40"x40"x1.5", painted with oils in a combination of blues and yellows.  This painting is based on an earlier piece, very popular, title: "Born to be blue".
This painting is a great addition for a high-end modern decor.

The second piece is an acrylic.  This one is revisited, this time I added some glazes and flowers.  The flowers are painted with acrylic paint and gold pigments.  Technique: dripping, blending and impasto.

The third piece is an oil painting on canvas, with a beautiful and sober combination of browns, yellows and red Poppies.

The forth piece was done using palette knife and acrylic pastes and paint, with thick impasto creating a beautiful and captivating texture.  Several layers of acrylic paint, mediums and glazes were applied after the texture was created and dried.  When I completed the piece I applied two layers of fine art varnish for protection and a semi-gloss finish.

Enjoy them!

Please let me know if you would like to add to your collection any of these pieces and follow the links to my website!

All of tese pieces were done with palette knives, impasto style.

The 4th. one is an abstract textured acrylic painting, with gold-metallic pigments.

Contemporary art floral painting wild Poppies - week 23rd

 SOLD

Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all having a great week so far.
I'm posting 4 paintings this week.
I finished same days ago.
The first one is a large piece, 40"x40"x1.5" based on another painting I did in 2007 called Poppies Breach.
The name is "Poppies' breach", the predominant colors are: purple, blue & green.  It is entirely painted with palette knives & oil paint on canvas.  It is wired & ready to hang.
This will be a great addition to any art collection & high-end decor.
The theme: the wild Poppies seem to emerge from a purple mix of fire & grass, from the purple fire the poppies are born but never touched by the fire, symbolizing their freedom & detachment.
The landscape is full of energy & swirls of it can be observed along the canvas.

Then, the second one is an acrylic painting, beautiful texture & colors in this one.  This is sold, I have 8"x8" prints available.

Finally, the 2 last ones are acrylics, with texture & white flowers, varnished whit a semi-gloss finish.

I painted these pieces while listening to Argentinean singer Gilda that passed away at early age in the peak of her career.  Very cheerful music coming from a very sweet person like Gilda was.
I also brought some inspiration from dreams I had in the past of wild flowers moving in the wind on a sunny spring landscape.
The colors in those dreams are so vivid, that when I wake up I try to get them on canvas before I forget!
I also see the texture of things clearly in those dreams.
Enjoy!

Poppies paintings, Gilda, music & inspiration - week 22

Hi everybody!
These two pieces were painted as a humble tribute to Argentinian singer "Gilda" that is not with us anymore physically.

Her music and soft, sweet voice brought joy to many people, sometimes only by listening to her songs one starts to move and dance.
She touched the hearts of many and people even built a sanctuary where they go to pray and many feel of Gilda as an angel, answers to their prayers.
I was inspired by her music while I painted these two pieces.
They are called "Poppies for Gilda" and "Flowers for an angel".

Then, using the same technique, thick impasto and palette knives, I painted "2 Poppies", this piece has a gloden background finish.

Finally, another "golden" piece, using the same technique, with almost "transparent" flowers.  The title is "Paper Poppies on gold".

Please let me know if you would like to add to your collection any of these pieces and follow the links to my website!
